Home Place on the Maury

My wife, 2.5yo daughter, and I got away for a few nights at the Home Place on the Maury. It was our second time visiting a property managed by Curated Getaways and we were incredibly pleased. The home was everything we wanted it to be - comfortable bed, beautiful setting, well appointed, lots of room for our toddler to roam and play. We will definitely be returning!

The cabin on the Maury River was out of a dream. The property is expansive, with plenty of fields, trees, and two river entry points for swimming, wading, fishing, kayaking, or floating. The kitchen is well-stocked like it is someone's home, and the wifi is incredibly strong. Mornings and nights on the screened in porch were perfect. It is a beautiful escape from city living, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to spend some time in nature relaxing.

Rooms are not very clean, a lot of dust and bugs everywhere in a bedrooms. Kitchen also dirty, kayaks outside was dirty , fishing rods broken , trash was left from previous guests downstairs! Grill not works on a day we check in. Patio area is full of pet hair everywhere on a floor , chairs and tables! Location is nice ! Housekeeping service is terrible! For the price we paid we expected to have more.

This was our 4th stay at Home Place on the Maury and it did not disappoint. Spent time kayaking, fishing and playing games. The view is beautiful and the home is so comfortable! We highly recommend this vacation home!!!
