Cottage is as advertised plus more. Location was smack in the of attractions and restaurants. When asking questions the reply is quick. Cottage was clean and fully stocked. This was our first VRBO where coffee, sugar and cream was supplied so it was one less thing to pack for our trip. Bed was comfortable with enough blankets to bake under (we had to remove one of the comforter). If you forget any toiletries dont worry they have a basket of commonly used items. They think of everything for you to make your stay unforgettable. Businesses were all friendly and they remembered you if you returned. Visitor center was just around the corner and very knowledgeable on getting around town to see the sights and eateries. We had a awesome time visiting Lexington

Fantastic property. Perfectly setup for 2 adults to work remotely, one in the front room and the other at the kitchen counter. Property seemed new/fresh. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Location is super convenient to walk to restaurants/shops. Only difficulty is the parking. There is no dedicated parking for this property. You have to rely on public parking which requires moving your vehicle every day between a lot that allows daytime parking and the street that allows overnight parking.

Halestone Cottage was an awesome property with terrific amenities and great location! Loved the quirkiness and character of the stone walls, comfortable furnishings, and premium appointments. I highly recommend the cottage and would love to stay again.

Halestone Cottage was the perfect anniversary getaway for my wife and I. It was a short drive to Natural Bridge and within walking distance of the restaurants, shops, and historical sights of Lexington. This historic property looks newly renovated and was immaculately clean. We especially enjoyed eating dinner on the private deck. Although we were initially concerned about parking, we found the courthouse parking garage to be convenient and readily available. Little touches like the snack basket, robes, toiletries, and even the natural houseplant made this property feel like home. We will definitely be back for another, longer visit.
